Schenectady Man Sentenced to 6 Years for Drug Conspiracy

ALBANY, N.Y. (NYCROUTINE) — A Schenectady man was sentenced on Friday for his involvement in a drug conspiracy in the Capital Region. Andrew Deleon, 27, received a 6-year prison sentence for multiple drug charges.
Charges:
- Conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl
- Distribution of methamphetamine
Deleon pleaded guilty, admitting that he received several packages containing controlled substances with the intent to deliver them to the leader of the drug trafficking organization. He also admitted to distributing methamphetamine for the organization.
